We’ve been working hard behind the scenes updating the website and our services, based on your feedback. We aim to have it all finished by the middle of May 2022, in which you will be hearing more from us on a regular basis. We hope that you are enjoying the new look of the website. At the moment, we are just in the middle of updating our content.
As always, we are here for you.
Life’s Tutoring – Educate. Motivate. Inspire Mental, physical and business wellbeing services.
As the year is drawing to a close as well as the lack of updates from us recently (don’t worry, there is a good reason!), we thought it would be a good time to review our work and to inform you of our plans next year in 2022.
This year was about maintaining our presence and connecting with you, our clients. We think we did that very well. Based on your feedback, over the last few months we have been spending quite some time further developing our website, making it simpler to navigate. We really hope you do enjoy it and look forward to improvements such as our podcasts.
We also would like to thank our clients for supporting us and choosing us. As always we let our work speak for itself and you’ll see that from our ever-increasing testimonials where you can see for yourself the impact our work has had on people.
We genuinely want to help people, there is a reason why our mission statement is “to change people’s lives, put smiles on faces and improve productivity through positivity and mindset”. This defines us.
This year we introduced our loyalty scheme to reward our dedicated and loyal clients. You can say that this has been a tremendous success! This scheme will never end, that is our promise. Though times have been tough lately in terms of increasing prices, we are proud to say that our prices will stay the same, we hope that this will continue, of course there are no guarantees (as we are absorbing the price increases ourselves at the moment).
We decided against introducing gift vouchers as we felt the loyalty scheme offered more value overall. As mentioned last year, we do have a scholarship fund for deserving students who want to take our courses, we are also pleased to say that we do now also have a community fund for charitable purposes, we have spent quite a bit of money in this area and keeping in line with one of the principles of our founder, we do this privately for maximum benefit and to remove any sort of hidden agendas. We do it purely as a desire to help our fellow human beings.
Next year we hope to build on our successes of this year especially with the podcast side of things, yes, only one podcast episode has come out of it so far but once our studio is up and running, we hope that it will be a long term thing.
Finally, we had hoped to have launched our herbal clinic this year, disappointingly, this has not been the case, simply because we feel it is not ready yet. We want to fully understand and master this field before launching it as another principle we have is when it comes to health, one should do such a good job that there will no work left in it i.e. patients healing from their problems therefore not returning (a good thing for sure!).
Thank you for being a valued client of Life’s Tutoring.
By experiencing failure, one can then learn from their mistakes and improve for next time. Mistakes and failures allow us to analyse our actions and thoughts – they are a hidden blessing. If we never experienced failure, how could we ever improve?
What do you think? By experiencing failures and making mistakes, are they indeed hidden blessings?
Emails, don’t we just love them? We may be constantly checking our inboxes eagerly anticipating the next email to arrive, does that sound like you? Well, we might have gotten carried away!
Electronic mail or e-mail entered the public sphere in the 1990’s (it was in limited commercial use beforehand) and ever since then, it has made life easier for us in terms of communication.
Spam (not the food product!) also called junk mail, is when we receive undesired and unsolicited emails. It usually is sent in bulk to many people and contains links to other websites, contains attachments (files added onto the email) or asks you for personal details.
As a rule of thumb, never open up spam emails as some attempt to copy genuine emails from banks, postage couriers and the like. This technique is called phishing and unfortunately people can fall into the trap of clicking on the links contained within the email (which then can cause viruses to enter a person’s computer etc.)
Here are some tips from us to spot spam emails:
Look at the subject email, genuine emails tend to have a “sensible” subject e.g. “hello”, “join now” as opposed to sensationalist ones e.g. “man earns £1000 overnight”, “you are due a refund” etc.
Look at who the sender is. Do you recognise their name or the company that it is sent from?
Look at the email address, what does it say after the “@” symbol? Some try to be clever and imitate big companies or banks e.g. Amazon, Royal Mail, Paypal, The Government. However, a genuine email from, say Royal Mail, will always be “@royalmail.com” so if an email address is email@example.com, know that it is most likely fake as the correct email address would have been firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who is sending the email? Institutions like banks do not send emails asking for personal details, they never do, they tend to write to you via letters and they have secure checks in place to identify you. If in doubt, always call.
If you do open a spam email, how is their spelling and grammar like? Does the email look professional?
Finally, if you are in doubt whether the email is genuine or not, always call the company to double check e.g. call your bank to verify whether they emailed you etc.
There you have it! These are just some tips from us to assist you in spotting potential spam emails.

Okay, so let’s get straight into this, natural or processed food? Natural of course I hear you say!
Well, what do the terms “natural”, “organic” or “hand-picked” mean? Does it mean straight from the ground to our plates or does it mean with “slight” processing in between, in order for us to consume them safely and thus absorb the most amount of nutrients? The article that we’ll share at the end of this post will clear up some of the misconceptions that we have of “natural is always best” (most of the time it is!).
This also is similar to the misconception that we may have of herbal medicine, or “natural” medicine, not having any side effects at all, that is simply untrue. All types of medicine have side effects, however, it is finding the right medication for you (with minimal side effects) as remember, the same medication that may work for you, can have a different effect with someone else, so that is worth noting.
Please note that we, at Life’s Tutoring, do not necessarily endorse or agree with everything mentioned within the article.
If you can remember at the end of last year (blog post here), we mentioned that:
“Next year we hope to introduce a loyalty scheme to reward our dedicated and loyal clients. Loyalty is a quality that we really value and it is something, we feel, that isn’t valued so much in the present day, as opposed to the past.”
Guess what? We’re pleased to announce that our loyalty scheme is now in place.
Below is an overview of the scheme and the discounts involved:
Total number of orders
This means that if you have ordered at least 5 times from us, then you automatically receive a permanent 1% discount on all future orders. Once you have ordered 10 times, the discount increases to 2% and vice versa. The maximum loyalty discount that you can receive is 5% which applies once you have ordered at least 30 times from us.
As we mentioned, these discounts will be permanent once the respected thresholds have been reached. It is just our little way to say thank you by rewarding our dedicated and loyal clients.
