Okay, so let’s get straight into this, natural or processed food? Natural of course I hear you say!
Well, what do the terms “natural”, “organic” or “hand-picked” mean? Does it mean straight from the ground to our plates or does it mean with “slight” processing in between, in order for us to consume them safely and thus absorb the most amount of nutrients? The article that we’ll share at the end of this post will clear up some of the misconceptions that we have of “natural is always best” (most of the time it is!).
This also is similar to the misconception that we may have of herbal medicine, or “natural” medicine, not having any side effects at all, that is simply untrue. All types of medicine have side effects, however, it is finding the right medication for you (with minimal side effects) as remember, the same medication that may work for you, can have a different effect with someone else, so that is worth noting.
