Description
Introduction
Jurisprudence is the science of ascertaining (finding out) the precise terms of the Sharee’ah (Islamic law), in essence knowing what is right and wrong, the reasons behind it and the benefits and drawbacks of various actions.
Knowing what is allowed and what isn’t, is very important in following the religion, it can be the reason that allows good deeds to be committed and bad deeds avoided.
As well as divine morality (timeless and consistent), acts have been categorised into various groups from fardh (compulsory), wajib (necessary), sunnah (following the Prophetic example), nafl (optional acts), makruh (disliked) and haram (forbidden) to name just a handful.
What we offer
Learn what acts are compulsory, sunnah (acts which the Prophet used to do), optional, disliked and forbidden in topics such as belief, ablution, prayer, Hajj, zakat, fasting and much more at Life’s Tutoring.
In addition, supplications will be taught too and even more, there will also be a manners course included as extra!
Manners are learnt and not inherited unfortunately, it is something that us as humans in general, sorely lack today.
We have over ten years’ experience both in teaching and tutoring.
We have taught students from as young as 5 to as old as 80 years old!
Learn live with a teacher or from a pre-recorded course (pre-recorded option coming soon) at your own pace.
No deadlines to complete the course so you can learn to master jurisprudence at your own pace. Our teachers are very patient as they favour quality over quantity and value enthusiasm, hence why they are your well-wishers by wanting you to succeed.
Additional tutor support will be provided with live lessons such as contact via WhatsApp, Facebook etc.
How it works
You select the number of lessons that you require
We will then contact you via email before the first session, asking you to explain your motivation and intention to learn jurisprudence (this will give us an idea about yourselves as a student and your needs)
We will then agree on a suitable day and time for your lessons to take place
Please note – Lessons are delivered online usually over Zoom, for in-person lessons, this can be considered but for an additional charge.
This course is on a one-to-one basis, if you wish for it to be taught to a group, please contact us and we will offer a discounted rate.
If you just want to focus on perfecting your prayer, we have a course on that just here.
